6th Oct 2017

The new city game was launched today, on Friday 6th October, and sees 34 leading Stirling landmarks replacing the famous London MONOPOLY addresses, with The National Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle landing the top spots originally held by Park Lane and Mayfair.

The historic city of Stirling is known as the Gateway to the Highlands and the new game is a celebration of Stirling’s rich and diverse heritage, as well as showcasing some of the local businesses which give Stirling its distinctive character and charm.

All of Stirling’s must-visit destinations are featured on the edition, including Blair Drummond Safari Park, the Robert the Bruce Statue at the Battle of Bannockburn Experience, Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, the Old Stirling Bridge and the Old Town Jail.

The new twist on the family favourite also featured a number of customised Chance and Community Chest cards.  One Stirling themed card sees Stirling Albion making it to Hampden Park EVERY SINGLE SEASON. Another rewards players with the ‘Freedom of the City of Stirling’ – just like Stirling’s home-grown tennis superstar Andy Murray.

Roll the dice and see if you can purchase Stirling’s hottest properties!

The game is now available to purchase from the gift shops at The National Wallace Monument.
