Meet The Maker: Spotlight On East Neuk Beach Crafts.
Our ‘Meet The Maker’ feature celebrates The Tower Shop’s local and independent artists, producers, and makers. All who are Scottish, an independent business, and committed to using sustainably sourced materials and reducing single use plastics in their products. Which is exactly why we sell them.
Louise Stocker is the creative mind behind East Neuk Beach Crafts. The East Neuk sits on the east coast of Scotland and is around an hour’s drive from Stirling. A beautiful part of Scotland, it’s famous for its stunning beaches, traditional fishing villages, wildlife and seabirds. East Neuk Beach Crafts was founded in 2016 after Louise moved to the area and found she had developed a passion for all things related to the seaside.
Originally working with the natural elements washed up by the sea, Louise created handmade mosaics and collages with glass, pebbles and pottery. During lockdown Louise then delved into the world of watercolours, creating joyful paintings of her surroundings.
Along with art, her collection now features on a wide range of homeware and gifts. In April 2024, The National Wallace Monument made their first order and Louise began to create some very unique pieces for our shop that are incredibly adorable and bring a smile to your face.
View the full Monument range below and they are only available from The Tower Shop. Either browse online or the shop is open daily, so do pop in if you are nearby. You can also find out more about East Neuk Beach Crafts and see their full range of products here.
