Fancy learning how to throw an axe or take part in archery? Visit the Monument on either Thursday 12th or Thursday 19th October and do just that! The team from Duncarron Medieval Village will be here hosting both activities outside the Monument.

Ticket Information

Participation in axe throwing and archery is free. We do however expect it to be busy during the October school holidays – so we recommend booking your admission ticket to visit the Monument online in advance.

Visitors can purchase admission tickets to visit the Monument online or from the reception desk located inside the tower on the day. (They are not available to purchase from the café located at the Car Park level).

Event Information

  • The Monument is open to visitors from 9:30am until 5:00pm in October. The last admission is 45 minutes prior to closing.
  • Axe throwing and archery will be on both days from 11:00am until 4:00pm.
  • The activities are suitable for visitors age 6 or over.
  • The scheduled dates and times of all events are subject to change for operational reasons, or in the event of inclement weather.
