Gather outside The National Wallace Monument and watch as our costumed actor brings history to life during a performance of ‘Scotland’s National Hero’.

Learn about the man who inspired a nation – as you discover who William Wallace was, where he came from, and how he fought for the people of Scotland.

Performances Times

Performances of ‘Scotland’s National Hero’ are on throughout the day at 11:30am, 12:15pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 2:45pm, 3:30pm and 4:15pm. Each presentation lasts approximately 15 minutes.

Event Information

• The scheduled dates and times of all events are subject to change for operational reasons, or in the event of inclement weather.
• The Monument is open from 9:30am to 6:00pm in August, last admission is one hour before closing.
